Our staff is unique in that folks join us from all different backgrounds related to child development and mental health, but with a shared goal of supporting autistic children and their families. Regardless of their previous professional experiences, all of our staff complete a training program in NDBI best practices when they are first hired at ANNA and before they begin providing intervention services. Once our staff start providing intervention services, they continue to receive frequent supervision from our clinical leadership team with expertise in NDBI, composed of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA), a licensed psychologist, and a speech-language pathologist.
The ANNA staff working directly with your child will include Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). BCBAs are licensed professionals with training in teaching young autistic children and in supervising direct intervention delivery. RBTs will be hands-on, implementing your child’s individualized intervention plan, with support from their supervising BCBA and clinical leadership. Together we are a big team with diverse experiences, here to make your family’s experience at ANNA fantastic!
We currently only offer center-based services, and parent coaching services. If you would like to learn about the possibility of center-based services for your child, we would love to connect with you! Reach out to intake@annaautismcare.com
Language matters and we believe it is critical that individuals be empowered to use the language that best represents their identities. By using both the phrases autistic child and child with autism we aim to respect the identities of individuals who prefer identity-first language (autistic child, autistic person) and those who prefer person-first language (child with autism, person with autism).
The autistic community is diverse and includes individuals who prefer each of these identities. We’re doing our best to use language that is respectful to people on the autism spectrum and to the people who support and love them!
